By placing an order on British Auto Records, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our digital vehicle history reports are compiled automatically from official UK registries (DVLA, DVSA, Police PNC, MIAFTR). Delivery is completed electronically to your email within the selected timeframe. Due to instant automated data retrieval, digital reports are non-refundable once delivered, with guaranteed refunds for duplicate charges or technical delivery failures.

01 Parties & Acceptance of Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Customer”, “User”, or “You”) and zevseraLTD (trading as British Auto Records), registered in England & Wales with principal address at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom.

By accessing britishautorecords.co.uk, purchasing an inspection report, or using any associated services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

02 Scope & Nature of Services

British Auto Records operates a specialized automotive verification platform delivering forensic vehicle history reports for motorcars, SUVs, motorcycles, and commercial light goods vehicles registered across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Our verification reports cross-examine real-time official registries, including:

  • Official DVLA registration specifications, road tax expiry, and keeper change timelines.
  • DVSA MOT test logs, historical failure notices, and mileage advisory records.
  • Police National Computer (PNC) recorded stolen status.
  • Insurance write-off category registries (MIAFTR Category A, B, S, N, C, D salvage).
  • Outstanding logbook finance, scrap notifications, and import/export verifications.

03 Ordering, Pricing & Digital Dispatch

When you select a package on our platform, you will choose one of our certified inspection tiers with guaranteed digital delivery timeframes:

  • Basic Vehicle History Check: Dispatched digitally within 5 to 6 hours.
  • Standard Vehicle History Check: Dispatched digitally within 3 to 4 hours.
  • Premium Forensic Vehicle Audit: Dispatched with priority routing within 1 to 2 hours.

All prices are clearly displayed in British Pounds Sterling (£ GBP) and include all relevant automated processing fees. Payment is executed securely via Stripe.

04 Accuracy & Database Disclaimer

Our systems extract data from official UK public, regulatory, and commercial insurance registers. While British Auto Records takes rigorous measures to ensure data fidelity and high-speed API aggregation, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Records accurately reflect the data entered and maintained by public government agencies (DVLA, DVSA, Police) and participating insurers at the time of query.
  • We cannot be held liable for third-party reporting delays, omissions by prior vehicle owners, or unrecorded private repairs that were never officially reported to insurers or police authorities.
  • A vehicle history check is an indispensable historical investigation tool but does not substitute for a physical hands-on mechanical inspection by a qualified automotive engineer.

05 Customer Warranties & Permitted Use

By placing an order, you expressly confirm and warrant that:

  • You are the vehicle owner, registered keeper, prospective purchaser, insurer, motor trader, or authorized agent requesting the check for legitimate automotive verification purposes.
  • You have supplied the correct UK Vehicle Registration Mark (VRM) or 17-digit VIN.
  • You are purchasing the service voluntarily without external coercion.
  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable digital license to view, store, and print the report for private, personal, or lawful internal business evaluation.

06 Mandatory Pre-Dispute Resolution & Support Protocol

Mandatory Pre-Dispute Notice: You agree that in the event of any query, discrepancy, report delivery inquiry, or perceived error in your vehicle records, you must contact our 24/7 Support Team (support@britishautorecords.co.uk or Live Chat) and allow us a reasonable opportunity (minimum 24 hours) to review, clarify, or re-run your check free of charge before initiating any bank chargeback or dispute claim.

Unjustified chargebacks filed without prior communication may be contested using comprehensive server logs, delivery receipts, and verification nonces, in accordance with UK commercial law.

07 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by English law, zevseraLTD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages (including loss of prospective vehicle purchase profits or commercial downtime) arising from the use of our services.

Our total aggregate liability for any verifiable claim arising out of a specific order shall not exceed the total price paid by you for that individual vehicle report.

08 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions and any non-contractual obligations arising out of them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
